Safe School Welcome Program

Dear Parent/Guardians,

As we embark on a new school year, The Ministry of Education in Ontario and The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board are committed to a safe and welcoming learning environment for our students and staff.  A province-wide Safe Welcome Program will be implemented.  This program mandates that all elementary school exterior doors be locked throughout the day.

Effective September, 2013, St. John Vianney's main entrance will be equipped with a new Video/Intercom Access System to provide added safety for our students, staff and school community.  All exterior doors will be locked and a new security access device will be in place at the main school entrance.

We understand that some may feel it to be an inconvenience but it is a necessary measure to try and keep all schools within the province including St. John Vianney Catholic Elementary School as safe as possible.  We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school.

Sincerely,

Mrs. E. Daragon - Principal
Mr. M. Pannunzio - Vice-Principal
Mr. K. Roberts - Vice-Principal
